The Research Coordinator will be actively involved in co-ordinating clinical studies by assisting the investigators with patient recruitment, monitoring of treatment and follow-up actions, such as:
- Collection of data and tissue specimens as well as data management, and any other work that the supervisor may assign.
- The Research Coordinator should endeavor to assess the eligibility of patient for the study based on the inclusion criteria and clearly communicate the aims and procedures of the study.
- It is also crucial to comply with the proper research consenting process and documentation.
- The Research Coordinator will also need to prepare weekly/ bi-weekly updates to be sent to the Principal Investigator (PI) and report the recruitment rate.
Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in Health Sciences or Diploma in Nursing with phlebotomy skills
- 2 years of related working experience
- Computer literate and able to work on Excel
- Comfortable and confident with patient interaction
- Good time-management and communication skills
- Fluent in English and be able to communicate in a second mother tongue language
- Meticulous and independent worker who possess initiative to complete tasks and projects assigned
