Hong Leong Finance is Singapore’s largest finance company, with a network of 28 Branches and 12 SME Centres islandwide. We are currently seeking for dynamic individual to join our Credit Control Team as Assistant Vice President (Portfolio & Policy).
Descriptions:
- Assist the Head of Credit Control in developing, maintaining and reviewing Credit Risk Policies and Manuals.
- Maintain and review Standard Operating Procedures for the Credit Control Department.
- Assist to develop, maintain and review the underwriting programs for the respective lending products.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders from other departments in gathering feedback and data.
- Perform monitoring of loan portfolio and highlight key and emerging risks to ensure that sound portfolio quality is maintained.
- Support portfolio review reporting and preparation of portfolio review deck for presentation to Senior Management and/or Risk Committees.
- Assist standardization of MIS reports across all products and enhance them as part of portfolio management and strategy.
- Involved in the development, review and monitoring the usage of Credit Scorecards or other risk management tools or systems to ensure that portfolio bookings are of acceptable quality.
- Support other Credit Risk Management Risk Initiatives which include but not limited to early warning management and MAS regulatory reporting.
- Support the digital transformation initiatives of the organization in the areas of Loan Origination, Credit Underwriting and Portfolio Management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree with at least 5 years credit risk related experience in finance industry
- Well-versed in financial loan products
- Strong in analytical skills on financial statement results
- Able to produce reports using MS Office and pivot table
- Good in articulation of credit judgement
