What Will You Do:
- To review samples, drawings and instructions and translate them into computer commands to allow the machines to perform the correct functions.
- To setup machines in accordance with the CNC program for machining.
- To prepare test run and check if the machines producing the outputs are according to the specifications.
- To set machines to complete full cycles to fabricate a large number of parts.
- To work closely with the QA team in achieving production and quality targets.
- To assist Engineers in determining equipment, raw materials and consumables.
- To ensure workplace safety and health requirements are in accordance to organizational procedure.
- To ensure 5S housekeeping and safety precautions are followed closely.
What Do You Need:
- At least a Professional Certificate / NITEC in Machining or Technical school in Machining
- Must have 1 year of experience in Precision Engineering industry
- For non-technical trained staff, at least 2 years of related work experience in manufacturing environment
- Must be able to read part drawing and usage of measuring equipment
- Excellent knowledge in CNC programming like MasterCAM
- Great knowledge of mechanical drawing and fabrication
