Responsibilities:
- Assists in preparing Work Plan and manpower requirements based on the Work scope / Specification
- Delegates job to supervisors and plan manpower required for jobs in accordance to the budgeted man-hours
- Coordinates between the different trades and resolves problems encountered in project
- Reads and interpret Piping ISOMETRIC Drawing /P&ID Drawings
- Prepares Material Take-Off (MTO) based on Piping ISOMETRIC Drawing /P&ID Drawings
- Utilizes different pipe welding materials
- Raises and approve Purchase Request for materials and equipment required for the jobs accordingly
- Monitors work of sub-contractors to ensure that quality and workmanship conform to company standards
- Ensures all standard operating procedures comply with specifications, quality standards, statutory and regulatory requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/ Marine Engineering or related engineering disciplines
- Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in piping discipline
- Able to multi-task and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to board ships, enter confined spaces with limited visibility and have the ability to climb up and down stairs and/or ladders of varying heights.
- Occasional short-term overseas visit or inspections as per project requirements
- Good in planning, analyzing, communicating and independent work
- Excellent proficiency in English (written and spoken)
