Gravitas is partnering with a global insurance company to find a Program Manager specializing in Risk Management for the IT division.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate management meetings to shape the Risk and Control strategy in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Develop and oversee a comprehensive plan for the alignment of Risk and Control resources within Technology & Innovation (T&I).
- Build and maintain professional relationships and networks while engaging with external vendors as necessary.
- Manage and report on the Risk and Control budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
- Track progress against the Technology Risk agenda, collaborating with stakeholders to identify areas for improvement.
- Compile and evaluate the Risk and Control scorecard to assess project effectiveness within ITSR.
- Serve as the primary contact for Risk and Control demand management, overseeing external requests and internal task allocations.
- Design and implement a communication strategy for the IT Department to promote stakeholder engagement.
- Schedule and monitor Governance Committee documentation related to ITSR initiatives.
- Identify potential risk issues through analysis and recommend coordinated actions among Risk and Control teams.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in insurance or financial industry.
- Strong project management skills with a proven track record in risk management and compliance in the IT field - dealt with MAS regulatory guidelines
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to facilitate collaboration and reach consensus among senior stakeholders, including the COO and CRO.
