Job Role
The Foundation’s Corporate Communications team drives the organisation’s mission and vision, and supports department initiatives through integrated media, marketing and communications strategies to achieve public education, communication and business objectives.
The Communications Specialist will be responsible for the full range of social media marketing responsibilities to build and sustain a positive brand perception for the Foundation through NKF’s social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn).
Main Responsibilities
Strategic Planning and Coordination
Work with departments to identify gaps and opportunities for marketing and communications
Plan and execute project-based social media strategies or campaigns
Facilitate regular team meetings and discussions
Develop monthly social media calendars and directions
Coordinate with departments on social media directions
Content Creation and Vetting
Research trending topics, content, music, etc
Develop visuals and captions
Conduct on-site filming, interview, photography, podcast recording, etc
Social media reel editing
Review and vet social media content by the team
Marketing Strategies
Strategise, plan ad budget and objectives for each post
Perform ad buying and manage social media budget
Social Media Performance
Track performance and generate monthly social media reports
Analyse growth and trends, make observations and suggest improvements
Social Media Custodian
Manage all social media assets (online third-party website sign-ins and subscriptions and physical assets)
Ensure adherence to copyright laws including music, stock images, stock videos, content inspired from other creators
Qualification (Related Field)
- Diploma or Degree in Media, Communications or related technical or industrial disciplines
Experience
- At least 2 years of relevant experience
- Proficient in social media content creation, including conceptualisation, photography, videography, editing apps/software e.g. Canva, Capcut, InShot
- Experience in agency and/or healthcare is a bonus

Candidate needs to be comfortable / willing to
