Purpose:
- Perform end to end planning and project implementation of 5G RAN and Security networks
- Operate and maintain 4G/5G RAN systems to ensure operational efficiency and continuity for the company’s mobile business
Responsibilities:
- Perform end to end planning and project implementation of JVCo 5G RAN and Security networks
- Implement routing systems projects to interconnect StarHub’s 4G/5G radio networks with Core and Transmission networks
- Perform daily operation and maintenance checks for LTE Systems such as routers & eNode B, routing systems for 5G network and JVCo 5G RAN and Security networks.
- Develop, implement and maintain processes/ procedures for daily operations, system configuration, backups and maintenance activities
- Perform troubleshooting, system analysis and provide resolution for system and network related issues pertaining to 4G/5G RAN systems and JVCo Security networks in a multi-vendor environment
- Perform commissioning, integration, expansion, implementation and reconfiguration of 4G/5G RAN elements and JVCo RAN and Security networks
- Manage inventory of related spare parts at StarHub’s Central Offices
- Assess, plan, schedule and implement work orders or change request raised by various Mobile network teams
- Study, verify and perform risk analysis and testing of all software releases/ patches/ change deliveries for 4G/5G RAN systems and JVCo Security networks
- Perform software upgrades for 4G/5G RAN systems and JVCo Security networks
- Perform standby duties on a rotational basis including weekends and public holidays
- Perform scheduled maintenance and planned night works after office hours to avoid and minimise downtime to Mobile services
Requirements
- Appropriate qualification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Hands-on experiences in telco network operation and maintenance platforms and tools, system troubleshooting and project implementation
- Experiences and knowledge of IP networking and IP planning (TCP/IP/ switching/ routing protocols)
- Knowledge of cloud computing would be advantageous
- Willing to perform scheduled standby duties as part of operational and maintenance support
