Position Summary

A Freelance Recruitment Consultant is responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process for clients. This role involves identifying, attracting, and recruiting talented individuals to meet the client's staffing needs. The consultant works independently or as part of a team, often collaborating with HR departments and hiring managers to ensure successful candidate placement.



Key Responsibilities:


Client Management:

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients to understand their recruitment needs.
  • Advise clients on market trends, candidate availability, and salary benchmarks.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on recruitment progress.

Candidate Sourcing:

  • Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract top talent.
  • Utilize various channels such as job boards, social media, networking, and referrals to identify potential candidates.
  • Maintain a database of qualified candidates for future opportunities.

Candidate Screening:

  • Review resumes and applications to identify suitable candidates.
  • Conduct phone, video, or in-person interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit.
  • Perform background checks and reference checks as required.

Job Matching:

  • Match candidates to appropriate job openings based on their skills, experience, and career aspirations.
  • Present shortlisted candidates to clients with detailed profiles and assessments.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews between clients and candidates.

Negotiation and Offer Management:

  • Assist in negotiating job offers and employment terms between clients and candidates.
  • Provide support and guidance to candidates throughout the offer process.
  • Ensure a smooth onboarding process for successful candidates.

Administration and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all recruitment activities.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on recruitment metrics and performance.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and legal regulations related to recruitment.



Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a recruitment consultant or in a similar role.
  • Posses Certificate of Employment Intermediaries (Basic) is a must.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment processes and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and candidates.
  • Proficiency in using recruitment software and tools.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.

Work Environment:

  • Flexible working hours with the ability to work remotely.
  • Requires access to a computer, internet, and phone.
  • May involve occasional travel to meet clients or attend industry events.
