Space Lion Studios is looking for an IT Administrator / Assistant Editor to join our dynamic team of post professionals.
Candidates should be highly organised, able to multitask across multiple projects, have excellent time management, interpersonal and communication skills and be strong team players who can collaborate effectively with different stakeholders.
As IT Administrator candidates should have experience with IT systems, networks, and related technologies and solid knowledge of best practices in IT administration and system security.
Candidates should also have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Duties include but are not limited to:
1. Maintain and manage organization’s hardware and software
2. Monitor and maintain networks and servers
3. Deploy and enforce security policies and procedures
4. Onboard and offboard employees
5. Fulfill IT service requests and technical assistance to end users
6. Troubleshoot and resolve software, hardware and connection issues
7. Maintain knowledge of IT support, help desk procedures, products, and services
8. Document processes, back up and archive data
9. Keep up to date with advancements and best practices in IT administration
As Assistant Editor responsibilities include the management of digital media assets: ingesting and organising camera rushes, sound synchronisation, transcoding and layups, conforming of final edits, mastering, deliverables and archiving.
