Responsibilities
- Conduct technical evaluation and support technical aspects of solar power project development and operations, such as preliminary feasibility studies, engineering designs, procurement of components, construction management, installation and commissioning, monitoring of operations and maintenance
- Assist in preparation of feasibility study reports, technical evaluations and specifications for solar power project bid proposals and submissions
- Evaluate technical aspects of potential acquisitions / investments in renewable energy platforms / companies such as feasibility / competitiveness of solutions / target companies’ existing operating assets & pipeline projects
- Assist in development of standard operating procedures and safety standards to optimize the technical performance and end-to-end life cycle management of solar power projects
- Develop supply chain network, source and liaise with solar power / renewable energy component suppliers, EPC vendors and power grid companies etc to conduct above technical management duties effectively
Requirements
- At least 4 years or more relevant working experience in solar power project development or technical management/operation and maintenance of solar power plants, or solar power related experience in large and medium-sized energy design / research institutes.
- Have more than 50MW centralized solar power or distributed solar power engineering / project management experience
- Familiar with design standards and on-site work of solar power plants, approval processes, survey and data collection of solar power project development, testing, evaluation and diagnosis of solar power plant equipment etc.
- Able to travel extensively / as required to select countries for any major project development
- Degree in engineering / renewables / automation control / mechatronics or equivalent.
- Results driven, strong organization and communications skills, team player, ability to deliver under tight time pressures
- Fluent in English; with good working knowledge of Mandarin.
