Finance Analyst (Asset Management)

Job Scope:

1. Portfolio Management SupportPortfolio Analysis: Assist in the analysis and management of investment portfolios, assessing performance, risk, and return metrics.
   Asset Allocation: Support asset allocation decisions by analyzing market trends, economic data, and investment strategies.
   Investment Research: Conduct research on potential investment opportunities, including equities, fixed income, real estate, and alternative investments.
   
2. Financial Modeling and ValuationFinancial Modeling: Develop and maintain financial models to project the performance of various assets and investment portfolios.
   Valuation Analysis: Perform valuation analyses for potential and existing investments using various methodologies (DCF, comparables, etc.).
   Scenario Analysis: Conduct scenario and sensitivity analyses to understand the impact of different market conditions on asset values.
   
3. Performance ReportingPerformance Measurement: Track and report on the performance of investment portfolios, comparing actual returns against benchmarks and targets.
   Reporting: Prepare detailed performance reports for internal stakeholders and clients, including insights and recommendations.
   Compliance Reporting: Ensure that all performance reports comply with regulatory requirements and internal standards.
   
4. Risk ManagementRisk Assessment: Identify and evaluate risks associated with different assets and investment strategies.
   Risk Mitigation: Develop strategies to mitigate identified risks, working with portfolio managers and other stakeholders.
   Compliance Monitoring: Monitor investment portfolios to ensure compliance with investment guidelines, regulations, and client mandates.
   
5. Market AnalysisMarket Research: Stay informed about market developments, economic trends, and industry news that could impact investment portfolios.
   Macro and Micro Analysis: Perform macroeconomic and microeconomic analyses to inform investment decisions and strategies.
   Competitor Analysis: Conduct analysis of competitor strategies and performance to identify best practices and opportunities.
   
6. Client RelationsClient Reporting: Prepare and present investment performance reports to clients, explaining results and addressing any concerns.
   Client Support: Provide support to clients by answering queries and providing insights into portfolio performance and strategy.
   Client Presentations: Assist in preparing materials for client presentations and meetings.
   
7. Operational SupportTransaction Support: Assist in the execution of investment transactions, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
   Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliation of investment accounts and portfolios to ensure accuracy.
   Data Management: Maintain and update investment databases and systems with relevant financial data and information.
   
8. Strategic InitiativesProject Participation: Participate in strategic projects aimed at improving investment processes, tools, and methodologies.
   Innovation: Contribute to the development and implementation of new investment products and strategies.
   Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in asset management.
   

Job Requirement:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field
• Good to have experience in project finance, corporate finance, leveraged finance.
• Knowledgeable in financial modelling & analysis
