Role : API Application System Analyst/Programmer (Banking)
Key Requirements:
- Write and maintain programmable code outlined in technical instructions and specifications for software applications and operating systems.
- Must have overall 5+ years IT experience, especially in API or Java
- Must have working experience in performing Technical API, Java Analysis, design, evaluation, modification, testing and implementation of enterprise-wide web systems.
- Good hands-on working experience in Java, API as a System Analyst.
- Must have (recent) hands-on API/ Microservice or Java experience as a System Analyst or API Analyst (2+ years).
- Must have hands-on experience and exposure in API Specifications and Swagger.
- Working experience on product design, development and Systems Analysis which includes requirements gathering, prioritizing, designing, developing and testing web-based enterprise application using Rest API, technologies with exceptional ability to understand business requirements and functional design documents.
- Hands-on experience in API Specification is a must
- Experience and exposure in Solution Design, Database design pattern and Sequence Diagram (2+ years recent)
- Agile and Spring experience is required.
- Current working experience in banking or financial or insurance domain is a must (3+ years)
- Experience in banking and financial project is required.
- Experience in API Microservices technical specifications.
- Experience in conducting Open API or Java analysis of systems specifications.
- Experience in creating modular Java/API component framework documentation.
- High performance and reusable code and UI components, Code quality, Organization and Automation.
- Uses the latest API analysis/diagramming tools to represent business/technical processes.
- Prepares and obtains approval of system and programming documentation.
- Recommends changes in development, maintenance and system standards.
- Good understanding of all phases of SDLC from requirements gathering, conceptualizing, to design and development, with emphasis in development and integration testing.
- Review Technical User Stories and Scope of changes documented by BA’s. Envision, evaluate, analyze, and prepare technical solutions, validate its compatibility with the current system and inline to the BRD.
- Preparing technical solution specification (for front end and backend) on confluence (which involves API changes, Sprint Planning, new API design, microservices endpoint call, SQL queries, entire flow of technical solution for end to end functionality).
- Good in inspecting microservices API endpoint using browser development tools.
- Actively participate and arrange scrum calls, sprint planning and sprint retrospective calls.
- Translate high-level requirements into detailed documentation with technical solution within the organization’s context.
