Our Client:
Our client is one of the top global Logistics companies headquartered in Japan. They are looking for an Accounts Officer (4 months maternity cover) to join their Singapore office.
The Responsibilities:
- Monthly account settlement (double entries of freight transaction)
- Monitoring of account outstanding items (dispute items to follow up)
- Monthly reconciliation of SOA (AP portion)
- Check & review on Procurement system invoices submission. (Tenderboard)
- Prepare necessary document for expenses recover/reimbursement.
- Ad-hoc assignment by Manager
The Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Accountancy with minimum 3 years hands-on experiences in accounting on AP section (double entries)
- Experience in both Share Service and Freight Forwarding & Logistics company is preferred
- IT savvy with proficient in Microsoft office (Excel and Word) & SAP accounting system
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Independent, meticulous and good team player
- Multi-tasks, work under pressure and meet tight reporting deadlines
