Position Overview:
This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a proactive approach to assist in various financial tasks. Proficiency in Xero Accounting Software will be preferred. Working closely with the Finance Manager and Senior Accounts Executive, the candidate will contribute to maintaining the smooth operation of the Finance Department.
Do note that this is a fully onsite role, based in our Singapore HQ.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining financial records and ensuring accuracy in all financial transactions.
- Work with the Senior Finance Accounts Executive to reconcile bank statements and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.
- Support the Finance Manager in budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Support and prepare financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Stay updated on relevant accounting standards, regulations, and industry trends.
- Perform other ad-hoc financial tasks assigned by the management.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Previous experience in a similiar role and industry would be beneficial
- Prior experience in using Xero Accounting Software and familiar with Google Suites, especially Google Sheets.
- Good grasp of accounting principles and financial analysis.
- Capable to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
