Requirements
Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical)
Able to understand simple drawings (Engineering)
At least 2 years of Purchasing experiences
Job Description
- Maintains pricing policies by ensuring all customers’ pricing are updated and accurate for Harvest business.
- Administers inventory controls (including managing consignment inventory at fabs), to ensure inventory turn targets and on-time delivery targets are met.
- Processes customer orders, preparing quotes per established price policy, matching quotes with stock to determine delivery dates and managing delivery dates prices, and terms to customers & Suppliers (if needed) to initiate the order fulfilment process and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Manages part returns (RMA) and working closely with internal stakeholders to co-ordinate with Suppliers
- Provides daily customer service to resolve customer questions and concerns regarding, price and delivery.
- Performs administrative duties and cross train to support other business units as needed.
- Develops and executes cost optimisation strategies to ensure targeted profit margins are met for projects.
- Sourcing of standard parts and services as needed.
- Ensures freight cost targets are being meet.
You will be working as a purchaser for this role and you will be task for cost reporting as well.
