Roles & Responsibilities:
· Team leader of a group of Technicians and Foreman.
· Assist the Operation Manager for new Projects with machinery installation & commissioning, and proper handover to Production after testing and complied with all safety and quality standard.
· Perform troubleshooting and analysis of equipment & machinery failure, so that to minimize the recurrence of the similar issue and reduce unplanned down time.
· Responsible for establishing and maintaining technical training programs of engineering and production personnel.
· To initiate a TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) lead for all the Machine and Equipment.
· Continue to study and improve machines and equipment performance.
· To ensure all the plant equipment and maintenance activities are in compliance with legislation, HSE regulations and ISO requirements.
· To be responsible for external contractor’s performance and safety, optimize the contractor’s services with minimal cost.
· To ensure continuous effective support and enhance efficiency of all existing and new installations in the plant.
· To manage and guide the engineering team to achieve highest work efficiency and in the most cost-efficient way.
· To develop and implement checklists, policies, standards and procedures for the engineering and technical work performed in the department.
· To carry out urgent or Ah-hoc work from managers if any.
· Backup Manager whenever he absents.
· Take charge of TMS, OT and other engineering cost related control.
· Any other task assigned by Operation Manager.
Requirements
1. Candidate must possess min Diploma in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical) or equivalent.
2. Min 5 years’ relevant engineering experience with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
3. Strong analytical trouble-shooting skills & knowledge and the ability to identify and correctly root causes.
4. Strong knowledge of PLC, basic robot operation, and ability to read electrical drawings.
5. Independent and posses strong leadership and able interact effectively with all levels and good team player.
6. Good command of spoken and written English.
7. Result-oriented, responsible, proactive and initiative.
