Responsibilities:
- Arrangement, Coordination & Monitoring of export and import shipments.
- Manage shipping documentation, shipping operation formalities to ensure export and import shipments are proper
- Responsible for maintaining and/or liaising with Shipping Lines and Freight Forwarders on tracking status accuracy, such as ETD and ETA shipping dates.
- Attending inquiries via telephone and/or email timely and providing accurate replies to the inquiries.
- Able to efficiently handle documentation - Preparation of manual commercial invoices, proforma invoices and packing list; checking of BL, AWB, DO, Tax invoices and other shipping related documents.
- Able to do light packing / physical work related to shipment preparation
- Adhere to SOPs and Customers’ shipping requirement, as needed
- Ensure all the orders are executed in a timely manner.
- Must have skillset in trade net / Portnet / FCL / LCL bookings, working with portal and/or agencies.
- Monitor, check and ensure the loading and unloading report from Warehouse and/or 3rd Party Warehouse Provider being received within agreed working days
- Work with relevant parties to have complete set of survey reports, claims reports for submission, when handling discrepancies and/or damage shipments.
Requirements:
- Diploma or ITE Higher NITEC / NITEC in Logistics, Shipping or equivalent related qualification
- Willing to work 5.5 days a week
- At least 2-3 years of relevant working experience in Shipping and Freight Forwarding
- Able to write and communicate in English and communicate in Chinese
- Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and other relevant software.
- Permit declaration skillset is an advantage
- Knowledge in Export & Import Operations, Custom Process, Permit Declaration, Incoterms, Shipping Operation matters.
