Roles and Responsibilities
- Handling customer financial transactions such as account opening and deposits
- Perform Banking Transactions including Money Exchange, Remittance, and Customer Account Management
- Withdrawals, transfers, checking and etc.
- Counting and balancing cash in the teller’s box.
- Processing the daily transactions upon the customer’s request.
- Banking in cash and cheque in corresponding banks.
- Filing documents of daily transactions and keeping them in a designated safe place.
- Updating the record book of related transactions.
- Bank Teller’s box key is in a safe place.
- Conduct Know-Your-Customer(KYC) and customer due diligence checks for new and existing clients.
- Any other duties assigned by the department head
- Liaising with customers, banks, and relationship managers on update/follow-up issues
Requirements
- Minimum diploma holder or equivalent
- Self-motivated, meticulous, able to multi-task, and willing to work under pressure.
- Minimum 1 year of Bank Teller experiences
- Possessing good communication and interpersonal skills
- Good knowledge of Banking Products would be a plus.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
