As a Firmware Test Engineer at Micron, you will assist in testing the SSD firmware rigorously at all phases of the development process to increase the efficiency of firmware development. You are required to have detailed understanding of firmware design, develop white and grey box test scripts to verify firmware's behavior. You will triage failures and help the development teams to resolve the firmware issues.
Experience / Skills:
(1) Expertise in the use of scripting languages, programming tools and environments.
(2) Extensive experience programming in Python.
(3) Knowledge in SSD, HDD, storage systems, or a related technology is an advantage.
(4) Understanding of storage interfaces PCIe/NVMe is an advantage.
(5) Knowledge NAND flash and other non-volatile storage is an advantage.
(6) Ability to work independently with some guidance.
(7) Ability to work with other functional teams.
(8) Juniors with strong Python programming background will be considered
