Senior Finance Executive

Secom (singapore) Pte Ltd

Main Tasks


1. Perform SECOM SMART (Singapore) Pte Ltd’s full set accounts including :

  • Handle the full spectrum of Account Payables function
  • Assist in the day-to-day financial operations.
  • Preparation of journal entries, bank reconciliation, balance sheet schedules, reconciliation of accounts and reporting packages.
  • Assist in yearly statutory audit, including collate / prepare audit schedules, draft statutory accounts and attend to auditors’ queries as well as yearly XBRL filing.
  • Ensure timely and accurate management and financial reporting on a monthly basis.
  • Handle quarterly GST submission.
  • Handle yearly tax computation and income tax filling.
  • Assist in annual budget and ad-hoc forecast.

2. Leading, monitoring and assisting the Account Receivables and Account Payables team, including recommend control, streamline financial process and enhance efficiency.


3. Responsible for assets management and inventory functions, including Involve in routine and yearly stock-take finance processes, prepare bi-annual slow moving stock listings and yearly inventory NRV listing an assist in resolving all inventory issues.


4. Play a pivotal role in data validation and data migration to the implemented system, ensuring seamless and accurate data transfer. Collaboration closely with other teams to identify, document, and communicate any issues or discrepancies encountered during the data migration process. Provide support to address any data-related issues that may arise post-migration, minimizing disruptions to business operations.


5. Work with team to digitalize/automate billing processes, reports and workflow.


6. Ad hob duties as assigned by Assistant Finance Manager / Finance Manager.


Qualifications:

  • Diploma/Degree in Accountancy from a recognized institute and/or min 5 yrs working experience in relevant accounting environment
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a financial related position, such as financial analyst or accountant

Work based competencies:

  • Proficient in using ERP system (Microsoft Navision) will be an added advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point etc.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and able to work with cross-functional team.
  • Ability to multi-task under fast-paced environment.
