Responsibilities:
- Participate in maintenance standby duty to cover 24x7 support on rotational basis preassigned by the team lead (L2)
- Ensure SLA Level is achieved every single fault case
- Ensure escalation is carried out when a fault call is beyond the knowledge of L1.
- Attend to daily call assignment when not in standby during office hours
- Perform weekend or after office hours duty though not on standby if required
- Attend to preventive maintenance not limited to hardware inventory
- Follow up case from opening till closure
- Update incident tickets properly and promptly
- Get certifications required to support key customers
- New assignment by Ops manager or TSM when needed
- Provides level 1.5 Centralize technical support (Network, Cyber and Server) for all NCS clients
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols, technologies, and equipment (e.g., TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, routers, switches, firewalls).
- Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools.
- Experience with network troubleshooting, performance optimization, and security protocols.
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Flexibility to work outside regular business hours for network maintenance or incident resolution.
