Senior Systems Engineer – 2 years Contract (Renewable & Convertible) – Singapore
Our client is a world-renowned MNC in Tech Transformation. They are currently looking for a Systems Engineer with at least 5 years of experience in Solaris.

Job Purpose:
Evaluate, test, install, administer, migrate, and maintain an optimal on-premise operating environment, with a focus on Solaris systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Solaris and Linux servers, including physical servers in the Data Centre.
- Install, configure, and maintain Solaris and Linux OS and related software.
- Support and manage WebLogic software.
- Ensure system stability and security through regular patching and security hardening.
- Provide advanced support for installations, configurations, and troubleshooting.
- Administer and troubleshoot Solaris and Linux clustering environments.
- Manage storage infrastructure (IBM FlashSystem and Dell-EMC).
- Utilize UNIX and LINUX shell scripting for automation.
- Execute backup and recovery procedures using tools like NetBackup.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Computer Science or related field.
- 6+ years of experience with Unix/Linux and Middleware platforms, especially Solaris.

o Oracle LDOM Virtualization
o Veritas NetBackup
o Trend Micro Deep Security
o WebLogic 11g, 12c, OHS 11g, 12c
o Sun Cluster and Veritas storage foundation

This is a 2-year Contract to start and is possible to convert to permanent.
