1. Prop Trading – Bonds, Forex & Interest Rates:
- Responsible for achievement of Branch’s Trading Income budget
- Responsible for management of branch’s proprietary trading book in Bonds and other products like Forex – spot/forwards, derivatives
- Responsible for dealings of NDFs and IRFs subject to passing the necessary CMFAS module
- Responsible for adherence to all applicable Risk Limits including Stop Loss limits, NOPL, AGL etc
2. Money Markets and ALM:
- Responsible for the Branch ALM
- Following from (1) above, is responsible for all funding/deployment activities
- Responsible for development of new FI relationships with a view to obtaining new/additional money market/forex lines for the Bank.
- Responsible for recommending the setting up of new/additional exposure limits on counter-party banks/institutions
- Responsible for all money market activities
- Responsible for all hedging activities on the trading and banking book
- Responsible for daily interaction/liaison with Treasury at Head Office
- Responsible for adhering to relevant Risk Limits including such as Structured Liquidity etc. Wherever so necessary responsibility will be jointly shared with other traders. This is in addition to all controls in place currently, whereby limits are monitored by Head Office
- Responsible for putting up of Ratification reports in respect of breaches as in (a) above to the Appropriate Authority(ies)
- Responsible for entry of deals in Financle Treasury and signing off deal tickets
3. General duties:
- Expected to be compliant with relevant MAS regulations as well as best practices as applicable to dealers
- Expected to comply with the mandatory continuing education requirements
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Min Degree in relevant field
- Working hours: Mon - Fri, 9am - 6pm
- Location: Raffles
- Salary: Up to $20,000 (Depending on experience)
- Able to start work immediate or on short notice
