As a Network Engineer, you will produce detailed network architecture designs and implement network systems to meet the data communication needs as required.
Responsibilities
· Design, specify & costing of detailed Network solution, including
Ø Interpreting requirements and producing a detailed & compliant network design.
Ø Interfacing with technical team for design definition.
Ø Interfacing with other system-wide designers for service definition.
Ø Interfacing with suppliers and vendors for product definition.
Ø Evaluate and recommend the most suitable products and system, ensuring costs are within allocated budget
· During site implementation, testing & commissioning of the Network
Ø Leading the deployment and commissioning activities on site, as well as producing the commissioning documentation
Ø Providing support to the installation and maintenance works.
· Keep track of progress of all design & interface tasks
Ø Carrying out all assigned work efficiently, with a minimum of supervision,
Ø Expediting response and deliverables (documents & including engineering drawings, specifications, design reports and calculations, equipment details and other project information).
Requirements
· Diploma or Degree in Electrical / Electronic / Computer Science
· Cisco Certified Networking Professional (CCNP), Cisco Data Center Certificate or equivalent level in networking is an advantage
· More than 5 Years of direct experience as a Network engineer working on LAN, WAN, Wireless, SD-WAN technologies, with at least 2 years in network design work
· Development and deployment of Fixed Communication networks in Security domain
· Familiar with various protocol, TCP/IP, VLAN, RADIUS, SNMP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS and various overlay technology, EVPN, VRF-Lite, VXLAN, etc.
· Working knowledge and experience in hardening of network appliances
· Experience in any of the following will be advantageous:
Ø Network design and implementation
Ø Network hardware configuration
Ø Network performance tuning
Ø Deployment of network firewalls such as Fortinet and Palo Alto
Ø Performed actual work in setting up and managing RADIUS/TACACS servers for network access control
