Job Summary: We are seeking a versatile Admin cum Account Assistant to join our team. This role combines administrative support with basic accounting tasks, providing an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop skills in both areas. The Admin cum Account Assistant will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office financial processes and making it ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy multitasking.

Key Responsibilities:

Administrative Responsibilities:

  • Answer and direct phone calls
  • Organize and schedule appointments
  • Write and distribute emails, correspondence memos, letters, faxes, and forms
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
  • Develop and maintain a filing system, both digital and physical
  • Update and maintain office policies and procedures
  • Maintain contact lists
  • Submit and reconcile expense reports
  • Provide general support to respective departments
  • Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with integrity

Accounting Responsibilities:

  • Assist with day-to-day operations of the accounting department
  • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
  • Assist with bank reconciliations
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements
  • Assist with payroll administration
  • Assist with budget preparations
  • Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports
  • Handle sensitive financial information in a confidential manner
  • Maintain digital and physical financial records

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant, virtual assistant, or office admin assistant
  • Familiarity with basic accounting principles
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High School degree: additional qualification as an administrative assistant or Secretary will be a plus

Remuneration Details:

  • Monthly salary ranges from $2,500
  • 5-day work week (8.30am – 5.30pm)
  • Annual Leave 14 days + Various types of leave
  • 2x bonus per year: Mid-Year-Bonus (Jun) & Year-End-Bonus
  • Potential career progress
