Title: Global Technical Project Manager, Medical Devices
Location: Singapore
About the Role:
Our client is a leading international company in healthcare industry seeking for a Technical Project Manager to ensure the successful development of smart connected medical devices and the delivery of complex, multi-disciplinary projects within agreed time and budget constraints through strong collaboration with vendors and project members to determine and manage effective solutions to facilitate the delivery of the projects.
Responsibilities:
- Identifying needed resources to form, lead and manage the hardware project team and primarily responsible for the successful completion
- Ensuring pro-active tracking of the following project parameters:- Scope; Cost; Schedule; Risks; Quality
- Ensuring on-budget, on-schedule, quality delivery of projects that meets business requirements
- Working with relevant team leads to estimate WBS items
- Planning resources to ensure fair distribution of workload and to ensure consistent utilization of resources
- Developing detailed project plans and track project progress actively
- Providing timely escalation of Risks and Issues to Management and provide risk mitigation strategies
- Managing communication with stakeholders, both internal and external
- Establishing and maintain good working relationship with customers and suppliers
- Ensuring project documentation is complete and up-to-date and timely updates to stakeholders
- Providing mentorship to team members and to support their developmental growth
- Supporting Commercial team in tender submission
- Supporting Quality Management/Quality Assurance Team with their requirements
Requirements:
- Ideally you have at least 5 -8 years of Product Development and Project Management Experience with Hardware or Software Management Experience in Medical Devices or related field.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
- You possess a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer or Electronics or Mechanical Engineering or prior knowledge and experience in 3D CAD design software such as Solidworks or AutoCad.
- You have proven working experience in project management, demonstrating good knowledge of the complete project life cycle.
- Ability to use project management tools and software, such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office suite etc.
- Familiarity with different project management methodologies, such as agile, waterfall, scrum, etc.
- Strong understanding of quality management principles, methodologies, and frameworks. Experience in ISO 9001/ISO 13485 Quality Management is a plus.
- Ability to identify deviations and anomalies in processes or products.
- Willingness to stay updated with industry trends, advancements, and changes in quality standards and regulations.
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams, such as Project/Product Management, Operations, freight forwarding, and to address quality concerns and implement improvements.
