Responsibilities
- Manages external borrowing, including drawdowns, rollovers, and compliance of financial covenants
- Assists in Group Cashflow forecasts
- Takes charge of intercompany funding to ensure sufficient funding Group-wide
- Supports Commercial Units with FX/IR forecasts and guidance for project tenders
- Performs project cashflow and FX exposure analysis to propose financing requirements and FX hedging strategies respectively
- Assists corporate actions in the Capital Markets (Equity, Debt, Syndication)
- Prepares regular FX/IR/Liquidity reports for Management/Exco/Board
- Prepares Compliance reports (eg. VaR)
- Main liaison for Internal and External Audits
- Identifies and implements initiatives for improvement of Treasury processes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or equivalent
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Treasury / Accounting function with 5 years in a supervisory or managerial position
- Proficient Microsoft Office user
- Strong Treasury knowledge – in particular, FX, interest rates, liquidity and cash management
- Experience as a proficient user of Treasury Management Systems (TMS)
- Experience and understanding of SGX regulations and rules
- Experience in managing banks and counterparties
- Meticulous and committed team player with good interpersonal skill
- Proactive and good work ethics
