The Messaging & Microsoft 365 Systems Programmer is responsible for the administration, management, and optimization of enterprise messaging systems, particularly those based on Microsoft 365 platforms. This role involves ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of email systems, collaboration tools, and other Microsoft 365 services. The programmer will work closely with IT teams to develop and implement solutions that support the organization's communication needs.
- Develop and maintain scripts and tools to automate routine tasks and enhance system functionality.
- Involved in daily monitoring of data load and ensuring data quality and client requirements are met in terms of importing users data from Azure Active Directory to data warehouse in Oracle
- Responisble for data analytics used for monitoring and reporting of Microsoft 365 users activity using Oracle database and PLSQL for queries. Providing reports to clients in table format via csv file.
- Integrate Microsoft 365 services with other enterprise systems and applications.
- Administer and maintain Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
- Configure and manage email routing, security, and compliance policies.
- Monitor system performance and availability, addressing any issues promptly.
- Implement and manage security measures to protect messaging systems from threats.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
- Perform regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
- Implement production changes or fixes based on the clients requirements in the Microsoft 365 services and AD connect servers which will be configured, developed and tested first in UAT environment before implementing in the Production environment
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in administering and managing Microsoft 365 environments.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and other automation tools.
- Experience with email security solutions and compliance frameworks.
- Strong Data Analytics experience and experience in datawarehousing
- Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 architecture and services.
- Knowledge of networking and IT security principles.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
