Develop and implement regional climate transition and decarbonization roadmap:
· Create a comprehensive roadmap for climate transition and decarbonization aligned with GEODIS’ global targets.
· Identify key milestones, strategies, and initiatives to reduce carbon emissions and enhance environmental sustainability.
· Engage relevant stakeholders to drive implementation.
Follow up on roadmap and CSR actions:
· Monitor progress on the decarbonization roadmap and CSR actions pertaining to climate transition, climate adaptation, health & safety, and responsible purchasing.
· Regularly assess the effectiveness of actions taken and adjust strategies as needed.
· Collaborate with relevant internal stakeholders to ensure successful execution.
· Conduct social audits to assess the impact of GEODIS’ operations on local communities and stakeholders.
· Investigate opportunities for climate adaptation, considering the effects of climate change on employees’ safety, supply chains and facilities.
Coordinate regional CSR reporting:
· Track sustainability KPIs and performance across the region as per reporting schedule.
· Validate sustainability data submitted by the countries in the region.
· Support corporate CSR reporting and validation.
· Support implementation of the new reporting tool and reporting protocol.
· Carry out calculations of greenhouse gas emissions.
Enhance internal knowledge and awareness on sustainability topics:
· Facilitate communication within the regional Business Excellence network by promoting sustainability best practices.
· Organize meetings, workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions to foster collaboration with various internal stakeholders across departments.
· Encourage continuous improvement in sustainability performance.
Provide support for CSR & HSE in tender and contract review:
· Collaborate with the business team during tender and contract reviews to address CSR and HSE aspects.
QHSE support:
· Maintain the integrity of the QHSE management system during planned changes.
· Review change requests, engage with project teams, and evaluate external warehouses/vendors for compliance with relevant HSE and sustainability requirements.
· Provide support for internal and external ISO / sustainability audits as required.
Education Qualifications
· Bachelor’s Degree in Science/Technology/Engineering or any other relevant field of studies.
· Preferably with minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in HSE/ sustainability implementation.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office.
· Proactive and could lead projects independently.
· Willing to question the status quo when needed.
· Structured and target-oriented when working on projects.
