Seeking a Documentation Controller for an esteemed shipowner company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of documentation critical to their commercial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain comprehensive documentation related to vessel operations, ship building including but not limited to certificates, licenses, and compliance records.
- Coordinate with various internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure timely submission and retrieval of required documents.
- Monitor and update documentation systems to ensure accuracy and accessibility of information for stakeholders.
- Develop and implement processes to streamline documentation workflows and improve efficiency.
- Conduct regular audits to verify the completeness and accuracy of documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations related to documentation status and compliance.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Documentation Controller or similar role within the maritime industry.
- In-depth knowledge of maritime documentation requirements and regulations.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in document management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and document management software.
- Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)
- Bilingual proficiency in both English and Chinese (Mandarin), both written and spoken, to communicate with China counterparts.
