INTRODUCTION
The Assistant Manager / Manager (Marketing & Engagement) will play a pivotal role in driving communications, marketing and engagement efforts with a focus on high-performance computing (HPC) technology and supercomputers. The candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective communications, marketing strategies, creating engaging content, and utilizing tools to maximise the reach and impact of the NSCC initiatives. The role requires strong marketing and communication skills combined with an interest in technology. Responsibilities will include conceptualizing, formulating and implementing key corporate communications messages and marketing activities to highlight the role, impact and benefit of HPC in Singapore.
JOB SCOPE
The candidate will be an integral part of NSCC communications, publicity and marketing plans for a diverse audience of researchers and stakeholders from the scientific and non-scientific communities. The candidate will help develop and coordinate corporate communications, media and publicity activities to highlight the importance of HPC. The candidate will help amplify key messages by developing media and publicity opportunities, creating new marketing collaterals, conceptualizing events and campaigns to generate awareness, engagement, and adoption of HPC and supercomputing resources amongst key stakeholders, researchers, industry professionals, and government organisations. The aim will be to promote NSCC’s HPC capabilities and educate audiences about the benefits of HPC in advancing innovative research and creating impact for Singapore. The scope includes:
- Developing and implementing strategic communication plans and activities that enhance NSCC's brand, reputation, and engagement with key audiences and stakeholders through media relations, content creation, stakeholder engagement and collaterals.
- Developing and supporting events and marketing initiatives to promote the NSCC and its supercomputing services, targeting researchers, scientists, industry professionals, and government organisations.
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree holder from a good university.
- At least 3-5 years of experience with corporate communications, media relations, events, marketing and publicity activities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and strategies.
- Track record of managing successful communications and marketing campaigns.
- Familiarity with technology, science or research is advantageous.
- Multi-tasker with strong project management skills.
- Experience with data analysis and interpretation to drive marketing strategies.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse audiences and teams.
- Innovative and creative thinker with the ability to propose and implement new ideas.
- Willingness to travel.
