We’re on the lookout for an Accounts / Finance Manager who will oversee our finance operations, ensuring the financial health and sustainability of our boutique collection of shophouses. This role involves managing the finance team, including the Accounts Executive, and handling basic office management responsibilities.

Responsibilities:
Administrative:
• Oversee office administrative functions and ensure smooth operations.
- Subscribe and maintain utilities accounts across Figment properties
- Perform administrative paperwork as required
• Supervise and mentor the Accounts team, including 2 Offshore Accounts Executives.
Accounting & Compliance:
• Oversee the Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.
• Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Maintain and enforce financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and regulations.
Budgeting & Cost Control:
• Develop and manage annual budgets in collaboration with department heads.
• Monitor budget performance and implement cost control measures.
• Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights.
Financial Planning & Analysis:
• Manage cash flow planning and ensure funds availability.
• Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare financial reports for management and stakeholders.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
• Work closely with the SG team on financial and operational matters.
• Collaborate with external auditors, tax advisors, and other stakeholders.
• Provide financial guidance to support business decisions and strategy.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
• Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in financial software and systems; knowledge of Xero is an advantage.
• Excellent command of both spoken and written English.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Responsible, self-motivated, and a team player with a proactive approach.
