Responsibilities
- Design ATEX/IECEx explosion-proof mobile vehicles (electric and diesel)
- Design ATEX/IECEx explosion-proof diesel engine equipment for marine offshore oil & gas (compressors, generators, pumps)
- Define systems architecture, generate wiring diagrams, control systems
- Specify components
- Generate part numbers and BOMs
- Create engineering specifications and checklists for accurate designs
- Standardize processes and work on cost reduction initiatives
- Improve and document design work processes
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in electrical/ electronic/ mechatronic field
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- Good to have ATEX/ IECEX design knowledge
- Proficient in electrical AutoCAD or equivalent (preferably See Electrical IGE-XAO software)
- Focus on design and compliance with attention to detail
- Ability to read mechanical and electrical technical drawings
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Capable of working in a design office environment
