Operation
A host is the first employee to interact with arriving guests as they enter the restaurant.
- Welcome guests.
- Advice guest about availability if they are walk-ins and escort them to the table if possible.
- Give directions to the guest.
- Answer any questions from guest.
- Monitoring tables of the dining areas of the restaurant.
- To inform the estimate waiting time to waiting guest.
- Manage tables as promptly, needs to know every level vacant tables.
- To ensure to know all table numbers and the occupancy of every table.
- Lost and found items.
- Manage reservations, calls and emails.
- Maintains an active, friendly and welcoming presence at the entrance/ host desk and enforces all quality standards and procedures from arrival until the departure.
Knowledge
- To have complete knowledge of standard operating policies and procedures.
- To understand the uniqueness of PHF from the history to the characters of each areas/restaurants and bar.
- Understand many different culture, nationalities, personal preference and appreciate the difference and deliver satisfaction.
- To have basic knowledge of food & beverage of all floors.
- To have a very good communication skills in English.
- To have a thorough knowledge of each level distribution and function and number of pax.
- To be aware of fire and safety standards and procedures.
PR
- To be able to promote all floors with right wording and correct information.
- To understands the uniqueness and characters of each area and suggest the right area to the right guests.
- To be able to explain to guest the kind of events that the venue is able to host.
Requirements :
-Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role
-Well spoken and service orientated
-Shift, weekend and PH work required
-2 Off days a week
