Responsibilities:
- Configure and customize Epic applications.
- Gather and translate end-user requirements into technical specifications.
- Implement new Epic modules.
- Conduct system testing and validation.
- Train end-users on Epic applications.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting.
- Optimize clinical and administrative workflows.
- Collaborate with staff to identify improvement areas.
- Manage and ensure data integrity and security.
- Develop and run performance reports.
- Coordinate system upgrades and patches.
- Integrate Epic with other systems.
- Maintain documentation of configurations and procedures.
- Share knowledge and best practices with stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
- Certifications: Certification in relevant Epic modules (e.g., EpicCare Ambulatory, Inpatient, MyChart, Resolute).
Experience:
- 5-7 years in healthcare IT with Epic Systems.
- Proven implementation and optimization of Epic applications.
- Familiarity with clinical workflows and healthcare regulations.
- Proficiency in Epic software modules and customization.
- Skills in data analysis, SQL, and system integration.
- Understanding of networking and server infrastructure.
