My client, a global proprietary trading firm, is looking for an experienced Network Engineer to help with their trading infrastructure expansion plan in Hong Kong
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy high-performance network architectures
- Implement robust security measures to safeguard data and infrastructure
- Continuous monitoring and optimization of the network performance
- Minimize downtime and ensure uninterrupted trading operation
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, or a related field
- Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin (ideally)
- Demonstrated track record as a Network Engineer in a high-frequency/low-latency trading environment
- Expertise in network protocols, topologies, architectures and devices
- Practical experience with network monitoring, analysis tools, and automation using Python (will be an advantage)
- Knowledge of market data feeds, exchange connectivity, FIX protocol, and trading platforms
