Our client is a leader in its industry, currently hiring a meticulous, driven and technically competent Finance talent with Consolidation, Controlling, Management Reporting and Treasury experience to join the group level finance team.
Budget
S$9,000 - S$10,000 per month + Variable Bonus
Key Requirements
- Chartered Accountant, Accountancy degree from NTU, NUS, SMU or reputable universities
- Prior Big 4 background, and at least recent >5 years of experience in the commercial sector in overseeing group consolidation and full spectrum Finance responsibilities (such as management reporting, forex hedging, budgeting, forecasting, tax etc)
- Strong IFRS knowledge
- MUST: Group Consolidationexperience is a must – ideally to have covered regional or global entities and familiar with various company structures such as JV, NCI, subsidiaries etc
- Team management skills required
- Exposure in supporting M&A activities can be a plus
- Traits: Mature, results-driven, reliable, meticulous, independent, self-starter, flexible, good time management and has the ability to business partner various stakeholders including Head of Department and Senior Leadership team
Job Scope
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will manage a small team of 1 to 2 members and overseeing full spectrum of Finance responsibilities. Your portfolio will include group consolidation, review of company accounts, tax, audit, management reporting, analysis working capital management, forex hedging, budgeting and forecasting, loan management and treasury. You will ensure preparation of decks for Board reporting, manage equity accounting for overseas joint ventures, perform subsidiaries impairment testings, manage banking matters, ensure compliance with IFRS and in-country GAAP of your global entities and that group reporting is submitted on a timely and accurate basis. You will continuously evaluate and review existing processes and recommend improvement areas across business units, and drive / participate in group initiatives and implementation projects. You will support senior executive team, BU Leads and Head of Departments in advising financial impacts and providing recommendations.
