Roles & Responsibilities
· To assist the childcare committee in establishing a leadership to peers in quality early childhood curriculum design, development and implementation of right mixed and acceptable teaching methodology;
· To coach and support peers to monitor, assess, document and maintain proper records keeping track of children’s learning and development progress;
· To assist in licensing matters and be responsible for compliance set by the Ministry;
· Develop strategies to market and maintain the children enrolment to maximise the centre’s capacity;
· Manage cost control in all aspects of centre’s daily business operations;
· Select, coach and mentor teachers to maximise their professional relationship with parents, harmonious working relations with colleagues and teaching performance for the growth of students under their purview;
· Maintain children records in upmost integrity and professional manners and assign the right resources for staffs-children ratio as required by the Ministry;
· Maintain the centre physical condition and maximise the facilities to provide learning environment of children;
· Establish and maintain positive and effective communication with numerous stakeholders;
· Organise events to support cultural, festive events, racial harmony and green environment.
Job Requirements:
· A recognised bachelor’s degree in early childhood education from an approved institution and Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education (Leadership) or its equivalent.
· At least 5 years working experience in a pre-school with at least 2 years in a leadership role
· High EQ, matured, exemplary leadership and management skills are essential.
· Exceptional interpersonal skills
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
