Project Description:
- We are looking for a skilled Technical Business Analyst to contribute to our data analytics initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of financial data management, excellent analytical abilities, and be willing to work extended hours when necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Write complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from various sources, including SimCorp database.
Work closely with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into actionable insights.
Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports to support business decision-making processes.
Conduct thorough data validation and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize data processes and drive efficiency.
Provide expertise in SimCorp data structures, workflows, and processes.
Perform ad-hoc analysis and investigate data-related issues as needed.
Collect, organize, and analyze financial data from various data sources
Develop and maintain databases and data management systems.
Prepare comprehensive reports across different financial instrument types
Mandatory Skills Description:
- • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Analyst in the financial industry
• At least 5-6 years of proven experience
• Solid understanding of financial instruments, investment operations, investment reporting and portfolio management concepts.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau.
• Strong proficiency in SQL with the ability to write complex queries and optimize database performance.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Flexibility to work late hours when necessary to meet project deadlines or address urgent issues.
Nice-to-Have Skills Description:
- • Hands-on experience with SimCorp either as an end-user or familiarity with using SimCorp data
