What you will be working on

In this role, you will:

  • Prepare and execute project plans, monitor progress, and provide updates while adhering to standards and guidelines.
  • Gather and analyse business requirements, design, develop, implement, and maintain application systems to support the Board’s schemes.
  • Perform software development and deployment, conduct code reviews, provide systems support, and participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Collaborate closely with different stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Provide user support through troubleshooting and timely resolution of any incidents encountered.
  • Review impact analysis, design of IT solutions, and cost estimation proposed by outsourced vendors.

What we are looking for

We value the diverse talents and experiences that each individual brings to the table. While mastery of every requirement may not be necessary, familiarity and expertise in some of the following areas will position you for success within this team.

  • Hands-on knowledge and experience in end-to-end Software Development Life Cycle, with the ability to manage projects, scope requirements, review application designs, and deliver cost-effective solutions to business users and external stakeholders.
  • Technically competent in one or more of the following development language, tools and technologies:
    - Adobe Experience Manager (Sites/Forms) and Microsoft Azure development platform e.g. Net Core, Logic Apps, App Services, Azure Data Factor, SQL database.
    - Others development language e.g. Angular, CSS and JavaScript.
    - Micro-services and container technologies eg. Kubernetes
    - DevSecOps process and tools e.g. Azure DevOps, SonarQube, Fortify
    - Experience in building secure and resilient applications.
    - Understanding of Government Commercial Cloud (GCC).
  • Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to stay up to date with the latest developments in cloud technology and tools.

The seniority of appointment and actual corporate job title will commensurate with individual work experiences.

Position is on 2-year full time contract directly under the payroll of CPF Board with potential for emplacement into permanent position.
