Key Responsibilities:
Project Formulation and Budgeting:
- Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to gather, analyze, harmonize, and document requirements.
- Work with stakeholders to finalize business requirements documentation, craft RFP (Request for Proposal) specifications, and evaluation criteria.
- Conduct RFP/RFI (Request for Information) processes to identify suitable products and services, and perform annual GIS project budgeting.
- Lead and manage the RFP process, ensuring adherence to procurement standards and guidelines.
- Participate in contract negotiations and finalization, coordinating with various teams.
- Work with business stakeholders to seek budget approval based on RFP outcomes.
Project Implementation:
- Enforce high standards of quality, accuracy, and consistency in all project activities, documentation, logs, and reporting.
- Ensure project timelines are adhered to, manage and track project issues and risks to closure, and escalate as needed.
- Align project governance with the organization's project delivery standards.
- Anticipate project needs, act as a central point of contact, and interface with stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Plan and execute change management activities and communications.
- Implement and maintain processes for reporting progress to project steering committees.
- Prepare and deliver reporting materials for program and project governance forums.
- Track and manage project budgets, planned versus actual spend.
- Ensure the project delivery methodology is adhered to and conduct process assurance peer reviews.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Computing or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in program/project management within a Project Delivery/PMO function.
- Past experience in project management and business analysis in the areas of Information and Cyber Security, with a focus on implementing related solutions and capabilities.
- Strong skills in request for tender/proposal processes, including drafting specifications, evaluation, contract negotiations, and finalization.
- Expertise in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Confluence, JIRA) and SDLC/Agile methodologies.
- Proficiency in areas such as database activity security monitoring, cloud security, network security, endpoint security, and identity management solutions.
- Excellent organization, multi-tasking, and time management skills.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities, with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Effective communication, stakeholder engagement, and vendor management skills.
