Job Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Facility & Safety Manager, the Senior Security Officer is accountable for maintaining safety and security for all guests, employees, tenants, service vendors, and hotel facilities and equipment.
- Conduct random inspections of goods and personnel entering or leaving the hotel premises.
- Monitor CCTV surveillance and conduct regular patrols of the hotel, promptly reporting any suspicious or unusual activities to the Supervisor.
- Fulfill security duties in designated areas within the property.
- Perform traffic control duties in the hotel's driveway and car park as needed.
- Safeguard all lost and found items, meticulously documenting them in the Occurrence Book.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and alarms as per hotel protocols.
- Serve as a member of the CERT (Company Emergency Response Team), ensuring adherence to SOPs during emergencies, alarms, and crises.
- Maintain a professional demeanor, handling incidents discreetly and confidently.
- Uphold excellent customer service standards to ensure optimal guest satisfaction.
- Execute additional duties assigned by the Supervisor.
Requirements
- GCE O Level or N Level equivalents.
- Minimum of 2 years' relevant experience at the senior level.
- Possession of a valid PLRD license and Recognized Terrorist Threat Certificate.
- Capable of performing physically demanding tasks.
- Availability to work a 12-hour rotating shift, 5 days per week (including weekends and public holidays). Overtime compensation provided for hours beyond 44 per week.
