We are seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator to join our client. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our organization's databases to ensure data security, integrity, and performance. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical skills, a strong understanding of database principles, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
Job Scope :
- Design, develop, and maintain databases to support business applications
- Ensure data security, integrity, and performance
- Optimize database queries and indexing for maximum efficiency
- Troubleshoot database issues and perform maintenance tasks
- Collaborate with developers and other teams to ensure data consistency and integrity
- Implement data backups and recovery procedures
- Monitor database performance and make recommendations for improvement
- Stay up-to-date with new database technologies and best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- At least 3+ years of experience in database administration
- Strong knowledge of database management systems (DBMS) such as MySQL, Oracle, or Microsoft SQL Server
- Experience with database design, development, and performance tuning
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
