The Procurement Executive will be in charge of daily procurement activities such as sourcing, reviewing and purchasing the most cost-effective materials/items needed. The incumbent must be able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

The Procurement Executive will be in charge of daily procurement activities such as sourcing, reviewing and purchasing the most cost-effective materials/items needed. The incumbent must be able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.


RESPONSIBLITIES


· Source and evaluate new vendors for supply of identified materials for company’s portfolio of business.

· Able to negotiate with existing and new vendors to ensure timely delivery in most cost-efficient manner within agreed budget.

· Track and monitor delivery of purchased items within agreed schedule and confirm delivery of items per agreed specifications by respective vendors.

· Continuously refresh strategies to adapt to evolving business needs and external factors, ensuring a resilient and sustainable supply chain.

· Identify and develop relationships with potential new suppliers,
including startups, to enhance supplier diversity and innovation. Stay abreast of market trends and technological advancements to drive continuous improvement and competitiveness.

· Oversee warehouse and inventory management processes to optimize stock levels, minimize carrying costs, and ensure timely availability of materials and equipment for project requirements.

· Conduct periodic review of existing vendors, provide and execute recommendations to ensure vendor performance on pricing, quality and delivery.

· Provide support to management in reviewing and recommending procurement policies including use of appropriate tools to meet company’s evolving business needs.

· Answer phone calls


REQUIREMENTS


· Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement position

· Able to manage a multitude of projects and/ or vendors simultaneously

· Meticulous and strong attention to details to ensure correct capture and issuing of orders

· Work experience in similar position within construction industry
