We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Systems Administrator to join our clients' IT infrastructure team. A successful hire for this role, should have a strong background in managing and maintaining a diverse range of enterprise-level technologies, including Microsoft 365, Exchange, Active Directory, Hyper-V, Linux systems, blade servers, storage appliances, and Windows Server-based application servers.
This role also includes providing occasional desktop support to ensure smooth operations across the organization.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with atleast 8+ years of experience in system administration and Microsoft 365 suite, including migration planning and execution.
- Experience with Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft Teams administration
- Strong knowledge of on-premises Exchange Server and Active Directory
- Experience with Azure AD and implementing modern authentication methods
- Extensive experience managing Windows Server environments and server applications
- Proven ability to work effectively with software vendors for application support and troubleshooting
- Proficiency in Hyper-V virtualization technologies
- Linux administration skills (Red Hat, Ubuntu, or similar distributions)
- Experience with blade server technologies (e.g., HP, Dell, or Cisco UCS)
- Familiarity with enterprise storage solutions (e.g., NetApp, EMC, or similar)
- Strong desktop support skills and experience with Windows client operating systems
- Relevant certifications would be preferred Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, MCSE, RHCE, VCP.
- Strong project management skills, particularly in migration scenarios and vendor management.
- Proficiency in managing hybrid cloud environments.
