You will support CASE in its consumer education and engagement efforts to raise general consumer rights awareness in Singapore through various initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Marketing
- Conceptualise and develop marketing and publicity plans, including social media campaigns
- Contribute to content creation and copywriting for in-house publications and social media platforms
- Develop collaterals and publicity materials, including those for events and fundraising. These include print (letters, brochures, posters, banners, videos, resource packs, and merchandise) and digital (website landing pages, digital assets, eDMs, videos, and PowerPoint presentations)
Events
- Plan and execute all aspects of events from conception through to completion, such as the major fundraising event on World Consumer Rights Day, covering venue selection, logistics, budget management, scheduling, catering, entertainment, technical requirements and post-event evaluation
- Oversee the management of all on-site ground operations, ensuring adherence to timelines
- Develop partnerships and liaise with internal and external stakeholders to organise or participate in events or other forms of outreach
- Lead and provide other administrative, operational and on-site support for events
Fundraising
- Plan and execute fundraising strategies to raise the necessary funds to support CASE’s missions and goals, and to build relationship with partners
- Organise and oversee fundraising events, including budget management, ensuring they align with CASE’s mission and goals
- Identify and establish strategic partnerships with corporations, organisations and government bodies. This includes conducting research to understand how to position the organisation and coordinating engagement efforts to foster meaningful connections and garnering potential new donors.
- Manage partner database and ensure accurate record-keeping
Other Roles
- Conduct regular media scanning to understand public perceptions and sentiments
- Collaborate with relevant departments for support as needed, support and participate in CASE projects and initiatives
- Other projects and duties as assigned by Management
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field
- Strong interpersonal, relationship-building and event management skills
- Effective communicator and presenter, competent in both spoken and written English. Knowledge of a second language is advantageous.
- At least 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in fundraising, events management, sales and/or client management preferred
- Willingness to go the extra mile, including working weekends and after hours as required by event schedules
- Resourceful self-starter and team player with strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and meet tight deadlines
