As an IT Specialist specializing in Endpoint & Application Management, your role involves overseeing the setup, support, security, and performance optimization of various endpoint devices and software applications for diverse clients.
Responsibilities:
- Deploy, configure, and maintain endpoint devices (desktops, laptops, mobile devices, IoT).
- Ensure endpoints are updated with latest patches and configurations.
- Manage a portfolio of applications for security and optimal performance.
- Monitor application usage and ensure license compliance.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of configurations and procedures.
- Implement and maintain endpoint and application security measures.
- Monitor endpoint and application performance for data confidentiality and integrity.
- Develop and implement automation scripts to streamline management tasks.
- Provide Tier 2 support for endpoint devices, applications, and connectivity.
- Create user documentation and conduct training sessions on endpoint security and application usage.
- Manage vendor relationships and asset inventories.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in endpoint and application management.
- Proficiency in endpoint management tools (e.g., JumpCloud, Clonezilla).
- Experience with applications like Google Workspace, Office 365, Active Directory, etc.
- Familiarity with automation tools such as Ansible.
- Expertise in Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
- Understanding of networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
- Proficiency in scripting languages.
- Preferred certifications: Google Workspace Administrator, MCSE, ITIL Foundation.
