In this position as a Senior Manager in the Underwriting Operation team, you will be expected to lead and manage a team of 8 others and report to the HOD. You will ensure efficient workflow processes and achieve timely delivery of accurate policy documentation.
The ideal incumbent must be able to provide specifications for migration of policy and be involved in UAT and subsequent enhancements. In this position, you will be required to work closely with other internal stakeholders across various divisions such as Distribution, Underwriting, Claims, Finance and IT.
The successful incumbent would also need to participate and support in annual Treaty renewals and preparations of renewal data pack.

skills and experience required
- 8+ years relevant experience in insurance or reinsurance industry and familiar with Singapore's underwriting
or documentation/processing of policies - Strong technical knowledge in various classes of insurance with core underwriting competence in at least one major class of business - ideally in Commercial lines
- Some team lead/managerial experience ideally
- Familiar with workflow process and involved in system migration work
- Strong business acumen and understanding on economic and business models
