The Role
Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager and working in a team, you will be responsible for monthly consolidations, preparation of financial statements, and preparation of SEC financial filings. The key responsibilities include preparing various balance sheet and income statement account reconciliations, standard and non-standard journal entries as part of the period close process. You will liaise with group auditors and prepare disclosure notes for audit comply with internal controls and policies, participate in the discussion and implementation of consolidation and bookkeeping system upgrades. Identify opportunities for process automation and improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting. Collaborate with IT and other departments to develop and implement automated solutions for financial processes.
Your Profile
To qualify for this role, you must be a Chartered Accountant and have a professional Degree in Accounting, Finance with minimally 3 years of relevant experience in managing group consolidation and reporting regionally ideally within Energy/Power/Utilities/infrastructure-based firms. It is necessary to be proficient in SAP, Hyperion or other ERP systems. We are looking for a strong communicator and an excellent team player who is analytical, pro-active and able to work well in a high growth business environment.
