Job Summary:
The Junior Finance Business Partner will act as a representative for various business units, assisting in the management of finance and administrative functions. This role involves processing invoices for payment requests, reconciling payments made by executives, and supporting the finance team and business units in achieving organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and the ability to collaborate effectively with different departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Invoice Processing:
- Process invoices for payment requests promptly and accurately.
- Ensure all invoices are approved in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Liaise with vendors and internal departments to resolve any invoice discrepancies.
- Payment Reconciliation:
- Reconcile payments made by executives against company records.
- Ensure all payments are correctly accounted for and discrepancies are investigated and resolved.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date payment records.
- Administrative Functions:
- Assist in maintaining financial and administrative records.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of financial controls and procedures.
- Provide administrative support to the finance team as needed.
- Business Unit Collaboration:
- Act as the primary finance contact for designated business units.
- Provide financial insights and support to business unit managers to aid in decision-making.
- Ensure alignment between business unit objectives and financial targets.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in finance or accounting roles.
- Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Experience with Netsuite is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Able to work independently in a remote environment
